The company is engaged in the provision of maritime containers transport and auxiliary transport of goods. It was founded in the year 1979. The company operates from a registered business head office located in Palma, Islas Baleares in Spain. It has branches in Alcudia and in Ciutadella. The company's fleet is made up by four passenger and self-propelled wheeled cargo ships (Nura Nova, Carmen del Mar, Mercedes del Mar and Blanca del Mar), a fast ferry for passengers (Pitiusa Nova) and one roll-on cargo ship (Don Fernando). Since its establishment, it has managed a total of approximately one million linear meters of cargo. The company is a part of Grupo Contenemar, a national leader of the maritime containers transport and auxiliary activities of the transport of goods in Spain.
